Polinema was established in 1982 with the name of Engineering Diploma Universitas Brawijaya. Polinema is to be a leading vocational higher institution in the global competition. As one of the first vocational higher educational institutions in Indonesia, Polinema presents excellent education for a better nation. Polinema students have brought knowledge and skills that align with the needs of the industry obtained through the learning process with a link and match approach and project based learning. Polinema provides learning that stimulates real industrial activities through the implementations of teaching factory. Teaching factory is the learning model that aligns the learning process on campus with the real production process. Students are directly involved in the production process which provides industrial experience. Along with development of technology, Polinema has been digitizing various processes since 2022. Polinema has launched digital graduation certificates.
