About Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta
UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as one of the largest Islamic universities in Indonesia, carries out the mandate of the people to become one of the leading universities. One of the important institutional changes that developed the role of Islamic higher education institutions was the institutional transformation from the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) to the State Islamic University (UIN) in 2002. This transformation is a significant progress, but also a challenge to improve infrastructure, system development and the quality of human resources (HR), as well as making a real contribution to the development of science and society, both at the national and international levels. It is in this context that the development of UIN requires a more structured and measurable strategy, both in terms of developing a system and organizational structure and a more rational human resource management, a more professional culture and work ethic and a more transparent and accountable financial management system. Currently, the recognition of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta can be seen in several achievements, including the aspect of international publications indexed by Scopus, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is in 1st place out of all leading universities in PTKIN with a total of 1350 documents and has been cited as many as 7,783 times. The number of documents stored in Google Scholar has reached 29,441 documents and has been cited as many as 343,587 times since year 2000 until now.
