UI GreenMetric Visits Tribun Network to Amplify Sustainability Across Local Media
Jakarta, 7 July 2026 – Continuing its strategic media roadshow, UI GreenMetric paid an official visit to the Tribun Network office at Palmerah Selatan, Jakarta. The meeting marks a pivotal step toward establishing a strategic partnership with one of Indonesia’s largest regional media networks to amplify sustainability communication and drive public awareness of sustainable development nationwide.
The UI GreenMetric delegation was led by Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., (Chairperson), accompanied by Dr. Abellia Anggi Wardani, S.Hum., M.A. (Vice-Chairperson), Sabrina Hikmah Ramadianti, S.Si. (Manager of Program, Partnerships & Communications), and Riska Putri Hariyadi, S.I.P., M.Si. (Communications Coordinator). They were warmly received by Tribun Network's leadership, represented by Domu D. Ambarita (News Vice Director of Tribun Network & Editor-in-Chief of Warta Kota Network), Rita Dini Kartini (Account Executive), and Rizka Elfira (Marketing Strategic Planner.
During the discussion, UI GreenMetric presented its expanding ecosystem of sustainability frameworks. This includes the Sustainable University Rankings, which currently encompasses 1,745 universities from 105 countries, alongside the UI GreenMetric Sustainable City Rankings (UI GreenCityMetric), which now engages 71 cities and regencies across Indonesia. These data-driven metrics highlight the organization’s ongoing transition to standardizing environmental accountability beyond academia into local governance.
The strategic dialogue centered on leveraging Tribun Network’s expansive hyper-local journalism ecosystem. With its massive presence across Indonesian provinces, Tribun Network is positioned as a critical ally in transforming dense sustainability metrics, institutional breakthroughs, and grassroots innovations into accessible, impactful stories for diverse regional communities.
A key highlight of the upcoming collaboration includes a planned feature of UI GreenMetric Chairperson, Vishnu Juwono, on the Tribun Network Podcast. The upcoming session will break down the global impact of UI GreenMetric's rankings, discuss current ESG and climate challenges, and advocate for wider participation among higher education institutions and local municipalities.
