UI GreenMetric Pursues Further Intra Campus Collaboration with a Visit to the Faculty of Psychology
On the 5th of March 2026, UI GreenMetric sought to expand its sustainability commitments within its own campus environment at Universitas Indonesia. These efforts aim to synergize with and support the faculties of Universitas Indonesia in spreading sustainability awareness and strengthening their sustainability initiatives. Securing a sustainable home campus environment is an essential step toward ensuring a more sustainable future worldwide.
UI GreenMetric was represented by Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., Chairperson of UI GreenMetric; Sabrina Hikmah Ramadianti, S.Si., Program, Partnership, and Communications Manager; Rayhana, S.Gz., Partnership & Program Coordinator; and Tri Wahyuni Setyaningsih, Program Partnership Intern. They met with representatives from the Faculty of Psychology led by Faculty Dean Dicky C. Pelupessy, Ph.D., who was joined by Dr. Dyah Triarini Indirasari, M.A., Psikolog, Vice Dean for Resources, Venture, and General Administration; Dr. Imelda Ika Dian Oriza, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog, Faculty Secretary; and Syukron Ma'mun, S.Kom., M.T.I., CROP., Head of PUSDATIN Center for Data and Information. The meeting took place at the A Building of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia.
The Faculty of Psychology of Universitas Indonesia has undertaken several initiatives to ensure a more sustainable campus environment, including maintaining green spaces between buildings, providing recycling bins in accessible locations, and developing and maintaining free drinking water facilities. The faculty also achieved 3rd place in the 2025 UI GreenMetric Faculty Rankings, demonstrating its strong commitment to sustainability.
UI GreenMetric can play a complementary role in supporting the Faculty of Psychology in advancing its sustainability goals. With participation from 1,745 universities across 105 countries and the use of seven indicators to assess institutional commitments to sustainable development, UI GreenMetric continues to serve as a global platform for measuring and encouraging sustainability performance.
This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening sustainability efforts and expanding environmental awareness across the faculties of Universitas Indonesia. Through continued cooperation and shared commitment, initiatives such as this are expected to contribute not only to the advancement of sustainability within the university but also to the broader global movement toward a greener, more resilient, and truly sustainable future.
