UI Greenmetric Delevops Further Collaboration With Kompas to Further Entrench and Synergize Sustainability Efforts.
On the 6th of March 2026, UI GreenMetric once again proved its commitment to a sustainable future beyond the educational and institutional sectors. To support this goal, UI GreenMetric continues to foster partnerships and collaborations with credible media institutions in order to spread sustainability awareness and promote environmental responsibility to a wider audience. As part of this strategy, UI GreenMetric has visited Kompas Media Group in late February to establish a fruitful partnership and collaboration. Recognizing the significant role of the media in amplifying sustainability narratives. this second visit serves to strengthen communication and explore further opportunities for collaboration. As one of the leading media networks, Kompas plays an important role in shaping public discourse and raising awareness of critical issues, including sustainable development.
Through this visit, UI GreenMetric aims to foster stronger engagement with the media in promoting sustainability values and encouraging broader public participation in environmental initiatives. Strengthening collaboration with media partners is essential to effectively disseminate knowledge, highlight best practices, and inspire collective action toward a more sustainable future. UI GreenMetric has become a globally reputable measurement system used by 1,745 universities across 105 countries. In addition, its city rankings encompass 71 cities and regencies across Indonesia. Through this partnership with Kompas Media Group, UI GreenMetric aims to further expand sustainability awareness while also supporting existing and future sustainability initiatives.

Through educational articles, in-depth reporting, and accessible storytelling, media partnerships help transform technical knowledge into actionable public understanding.
By strengthening ties with trusted media partners, UI GreenMetric expands the reach of sustainability beyond campuses and into households, communities, and national policy conversations. Through sustained collaboration, strategic storytelling, and shared expertise, sustainability can become a mainstream priority rather than a niche concern. The partnership with Kompas Media Group represents an important milestone in this ongoing effort. UI GreenMetric remains committed to building strategic alliances, broadening outreach, and deepening engagement to ensure that sustainability awareness continues to grow in scale, inclusivity, and impact.
