UI GreenMetric Strengthens Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration as Knowledge Partner at Lestari Summit & Awards 2026
Representing UI GreenMetric, Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., Chairperson of UI GreenMetric, served on the panel of judges for the Lestari Awards. His role underscores UI GreenMetric’s commitment to advancing credible, transparent, and data-driven sustainability assessment standards across organizations.
Beyond the awards ceremony, the event featured high-level keynote addresses and strategic panel discussions across its sub-sessions. The Lestari Summit session hosted distinguished speakers, including Mari Elka Pangestu (2nd Deputy Chairwoman of the National Economic Council), Susi Pudjiastuti (former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia), and Dino Patti Djalal (former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs), alongside prominent local sustainability advocates who shared insights on aligning national policy frameworks with ground-level execution. Meanwhile, the Lestari Awards session featured a dedicated keynote address by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development), who emphasized the essential role of infrastructure and governance in long-term sustainability.
A recurring theme throughout the summit was the necessity of a holistic approach to sustainable development. Panelists emphasized that tackling complex environmental and social crises requires breaking down institutional silos. Moreover, discussions highlighted public engagement and strategic communication as critical enablers—reinforcing that lasting transformation relies not only on policy and technology, but also on compelling storytelling and active community participation.
For UI GreenMetric, joining the Lestari Summit & Awards aligns with its expanding global mission. Having grown from ranking higher education institutions to evaluating cities and corporations, UI GreenMetric continues to champion platforms that foster innovation, accountability, and collective action toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through strategic alliances like the Lestari Summit & Awards, UI GreenMetric reaffirms that systemic sustainability is built on collective strength. By bridging academia, industry, government, media, and civil society, these collaborative efforts strengthen Indonesia’s sustainability ecosystem and accelerate its transition toward green growth.
