UI GreenMetric Increases Collaboration in the Corporate Sphere by an Official Visit to Danantara Indonesia

On the 24th of February, 2026. UI GreenMetric reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to advancing sustainability on a global scale by extending its initiatives beyond the educational sector into broader institutional and corporate landscapes. Through a forward-looking strategy, UI GreenMetric seeks to establish its sustainable corporate rankings as a credible and authoritative benchmark for measuring sustainability performance within the private sector, reinforcing its role not only as an academic ranking body but also as a trusted partner for responsible development. This milestone marks a significant step in UI GreenMetric’s journey to become a global leader in promoting sustainability awareness while consistently supporting and encouraging diverse institutions in their transition toward a more sustainable future.

To realize this ambition, UI GreenMetric recognizes the importance of strengthening its presence within the private sector, ensuring that its methodologies and values resonate directly with corporate stakeholders. An awareness session held earlier this month with Bursa Efek Indonesia proved highly fruitful, effectively demonstrating UI GreenMetric’s relevance and capacity as a strategic partner in guiding corporations toward more sustainable, transparent, and accountable practices. The session underscored the growing recognition of sustainability as a central pillar of corporate governance and highlighted UI GreenMetric’s potential to contribute meaningfully to this transformation.

Building on this positive momentum, and as a tangible outcome of these continued engagements, UI GreenMetric conducted an official visit to the office of Danantara Indonesia on 24 February 2026. The meeting brought together representatives of UI GreenMetric—Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., Ph.D., Chairperson; Dr. Abellia Anggi Wardani, S.Hum., M.A., Vice Chairperson; Rahmi, S.Hum., M.Sc., Ph.D., Manager of Operations, Data, and Service Development; Sabrina Hikmah Ramadianti, S.Si., Program, Partnership, and Communications Manager; and Caroline Andrea Windah, S.Hum., Partnership Intern—with Danantara Indonesia’s leadership, represented by Mohamad Al-Arief, S.H., S.E., M.Si., M.A., Managing Director of Global Relations & Governance, and Mohamad Setiawan Novaldi, Associate of Global Relations and Partnerships.

The meeting served as a strategic platform to explore avenues of collaboration aimed at amplifying sustainability awareness and strengthening corporate sustainability practices across Indonesia. Through constructive dialogue and shared commitments, both institutions emphasized the importance of collective action, institutional synergy, and long-term partnership in fostering a culture of sustainability within the corporate ecosystem. This engagement further reinforces UI GreenMetric’s expanding role as a catalyst for sustainable transformation, bridging academia and industry while contributing to broader national and global efforts toward responsible growth and environmental stewardship.
